Mallow Blow

mallow-blow

Preparation: Several bags of large marshmallows and a 5-gallon bucket for each player.

Instructions: Choose 3-4 people to play this game. Each player stands at a “start line” and is given a bowl of large sized marshmallows that are placed on the floor. About 6 feet away from the line there is a 5-gallon bucket also placed on the floor. At “go” players have to bend down and grab a marshmallow with their mouth, stand up, and then attempt to blow the marshmallow into the bucket. Players get 1 point for every marshmallow that lands in the bucket. The game lasts for 1 minute, (or until they run out of marshmallows). The player with the most points wins. Award the winner a “sweet” prize.

Variations:
1. Use multiple buckets of varying point values based on how far away they are from the start line.

2. Use smaller marshmallows for added difficulty. Or use both sizes and award 2 points for small marshmallows that land in the bucket and 1 point for big ones.

3. Play a team version with 1 bucket per team and multiple players on each team blowing marshmallows into the same bucket. Place a bucket in the center of each team and have players stand equidistant from the bucket. This way you can play a “boys vs. girls” or “leaders vs. students” mode.
