Games & Icebreakers, Games With A Point

Name Toss

name-toss

MAIN POINT: A great get-to-know-you game.

Small Group game. Have your group sit in a circle with no open spots and one person in the middle holding a tennis or whiffle ball. The person in the middle calls out someone’s name and throws the ball up in the air. The person whose name was called has to run to the middle and catch the ball while the person who called the name has to run to the open spot. If the ball is dropped, the catcher is out.

Continue playing until there are only a few people left. One rule: you cannot call the person’s name who was just in the middle.
