All you need for this game is a timer of some sort, your smartphone should work just fine. Here is what you need to do.
Ask for three volunteers and have them come up on stage. Get them to face the crowd and then explain the rules to them. You will call out a category of some kind and then the students will have 30 seconds to name items within that category. Items within the category cannot be repeated. The person who gives the last item BEFORE the buzzer goes off wins a point. The person with the most points wins.

Kitchen utensils
Action Movies
Names of States
Men’s names in the Bible
Names of Video Games
Etc.
