Video Parables

For this event divide your group into teams and give each team a video camera and a location (the mall, the airport, any public place.) The object is for each team to film a parable from the Scriptures.

Each group member must have at least one speaking role in the film and you must involve at least two strangers in the project.

At the end have everyone meet back at the church or wherever you meet and watch each group's film. Serve popcorn etc. Have an academy awards ceremony, complete with trophies and weepy speeches by the group members at the end. Orchestrational ÒawardÓ music is a plus.
