Speed Switch Game Night!

Have a digital timer and a bunch of easy to play board games (Monopoly, Sorry, Snakes and Ladders, etc.) – enough board games for every two people. Put each game on a separate table and have the tables arranged in a circle with two chairs at each table. Split your large group into two groups (example, the reds and the blues).

Have each person play one board game against a member of the other team. All the board games will be played at the same time. Then, after 5 minutes, tell everyone it is time to switch games! Have one team rotate its members clockwise to the next game. Have the other team members rotate to the next game counterclockwise.

The new opponents pick up where the other players left off – with the person from the red team playing the red token, and the person from the blue team playing the blue token and so on. After 5 minutes, rotate again! Keep on doing this.

If a game is won before the 5 minutes is up, the players record the win and start playing that game again. At the end of the night, the team that won the most games, or was closer to winning, wins the whole contest. Prizes could be small travel or keychain versions of games(http://www.ultimatekeychains.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=224).
