Do actions speak louder than words?
Absolutely.
But do actions speak louder than our thoughts?
Think about it. Where do our behaviors actually come from? They aren’t all just instincts. It can be argued that some actions might be considered fight or flight. But when you really look at it, is there actually an action that we take that doesn’t say something about how we think?

Just today, my wife and I were talking about our almost 21 year marriage, and the reasons for its success and longevity (especially in our disposable culture). Without thinking, Amy immediately said “It’s because we really trust each other.” I smiled, because “trust” was the exact word I was thinking of.
