Stupid Skits

Jump

There are 4 people who come in one at a time to the edge of a bridge.

The first person comes in looking distraught and says ''IÕm a newspaper reporter, but I don't have a story! I think I'm going to jump off the edge of this bridge to my watery death! I have no reason to live!Ó

The next person comes in carrying a cat collar. The first person asks ÒWhatÕs wrong with you?Ó The second person says, “See this collar. This was my cat Fluffy's collar, and now he's gone. Why? WhatÕs wrong with you?Ó The first person repeats his plight and then they both say, ÒWe have no reason to live!Ó

A third person comes in and the second person asks, “WhatÕs wrong with you?Ó The third person says, “I just got an 'F' on my math test. My dad's gonna kill me. Why? WhatÕs wrong with you?Ó They repeat their plight. Then they all say, ÒWe have no reason to live!Ó

Then the fourth person comes in looking depressed and the third person asks, “WhatÕs wrong with you?Ó The fourth person says, “I am a Freshman at (name your local high school) …High School, and today a bully knocked my lunch tray out of my hand. Then the whole football team gave me a wedgy! And then the cheerleaders beat me up and shoved me in a locker! Why? WhatÕs wrong with you?Ó They all repeat their plight. Then they all, once again, say, ÒWe have no reason to live!Ó

Then the second person says, ÒLets all jump off this bridge and fall to our watery death!Ó They all say, ÒOkay!Ó They walk over to the edge of the stage (where they can jump out of site) ÒOn the count of 3. Ready 1,2,3!Ó and everybody jumps except for the first person, the reporter.

Then the first person smiles and says . . . ÒWow! This is great! Now I have a story!”
