For several years in a row I helped organize a citywide block party. We used the parking lot of a local bank and set up a stage, food booths, a volleyball net, and lots of basketball hoops. We organized a basketball tournament, had live bands, and tons of door prizes (all donated by local businesses).
At some point in the evening, we stopped the basketball tournament and concert. Someone got on stage and gave a testimony or short message, sharing the Gospel. Over 100 students attended. This was done in a rural town of 2,500 people, so having over 100 students present was amazing. God really used the basketball and music to draw in the students and give us an opportunity to share Christ's love and Gospel with them.
