This is a great event to do over a period of several weeks. Divide the group into Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines. They compete every week doing a variety of feats, some physical (pushups, army crawl, etc.) and some games.
Teams also compete each week by bringing more “recruits.” Teams are awarded points by how many they bring, etc.
Teams each design shirts and get points for how many wear the team shirt, camo gear, face-paint, etc.
The final night can be all out war. In the summer, water-war is a great way to do this. But then it's fun to bring everyone together, announce the winner, and then do BAR BQ or pizza, something that everyone can enjoy together. You can use the grand finale to share the gospel. Just make sure to keep it student friendly.
