The Tale of ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Sorry guys, this is the poorest animation film I’ve seen in a long time.

Based on the popular book by Kate DiCamillo, is the tale of three unlikely heroes – a misfit mouse who prefers reading books to eating them, an unhappy rat who schemes to leave the darkness of the dungeon, and a bumbling servant girl with cauliflower ears – whose fates are intertwined with that of the castle's princess.

The cast is loaded with talent- probably not an actor I don’t like. But the screen adaptation and the pace of the film was just boring.

I sat down with my three kids to watch it on Blue-ray. The resolution was amazing… but who wants to be bored in high res.?

By 15 minutes into the film, my kids were begging to watch anything else. My son was really disappointed because he’s a huge fan of the book and loves animation. He was very unhappy with the screen adaptation of the book and commented that the animation looked like that of a video game.

Skip this one and just watch Ratatouille again- it’s 10 times the film.

SHOULD KIDS SEE IT?
Sure… if you want them to fall asleep in front of the TV.
