Stuck on You (4/1/2004)

PG-13 for crude and sexual humor, and some language

Directed by the Farrelly Brothers (Shallow Hal, Dumb & Dumber, There's Something About Mary)

Starring Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear

I think the rating says it all. Yes, there’s “humor.” It will make you laugh. I almost felt guilty when I was laughing—maybe because all the gimmicks were making fun of two brothers who were born stuck together. “Let’s laugh at the Siamese twins. Look! They fell! Ha, ha!”

So, yes, the movie’s funny, in a twisted sort of way, and the movie has that Farrelly brothers weird and crude element that you definitely saw in “Shallow Hal,” “Me Myself & Irene,” “Something about Mary,” and maybe a little in “Dumb and Dumber” (the best film of the bunch- although a little crude itself).

And that pretty much explains the film. Bob (Matt Damon) and Walt (Greg Kinnear) are Siamese twins. They try not to get in each other's way as they head to Hollywood for Walt to pursue an acting career and Bob his Internet girlfriend.

Is it a good film?
Well, it’s original. I’ll give it that. It wasn’t void of talent, and the script wasn’t dry. But some people will think it’s just “weird.”

SHOULD KIDS SEE IT?
No way. There are plenty of sexual references and crude remarks, not to mention the profanity. In addition, there’s one scene where we see Bob trying to work on his laptop while we hear Walt having sex on the other side of a curtain.

www.screenit.com can give you more details—but I assure you, have the kids skip this one. You might want to also.
