This is the better of the Steve Jobs biopics.

Set backstage at three iconic product launches and ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac, Steve Jobs takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution to paint an intimate portrait of the brilliant man at its epicenter.

As a huge fan of Apple products, and after watching the Ashton Kutcher Jobs film, I was excited to see this better version. First of all, I like Michael Fassbender better than Ashton Kutcher. In my opinion, he is a superior actor and he proved me right in this film. And when it comes to biopics, actors can make or break the whole thing.

Besides the actors, a biopic is all about the character’s life story and no one can argue the significance and drama of Steve Jobs’ life. I, for one, am fascinated by the decisions, tenacity and drive of Jobs. I loved the back and forth between his personal and professional life. It was intensely heart-wrenching to watch him be so successful in creating some of the most amazing products on the planet, but unable to sustain any personal relationships.

Steve Jobs was a true genius, but he was also a painfully flawed human being, and this film is able to capture that. For me it is worth the “Rental.”

SHOULD KIDS SEE IT?
There is no sex or nudity but there is a mild sexual reference.

There is no violence or gore, but there is a lot of profanity in the film. There are 24 F-words, 12 S-words, and several others.
