Monster-in-Law (8/12/2005)

Rated PG-13 for sex references and language

Directed by Robert Luketic (Legally Blonde, Win a Date with Tad . . .)

Starring J-Lo, Jane Fonda, Michael Vartan and Wanda Sykes

This film was about as likable as Jane Fonda during Vietnam.

It’s been a long time since I was this bored in a film. Can you say cliché?

The script was bad, the characters were shallow, and the story was just plain frustrating.

Just skip this one. Nothing else worth saying about it.

Should Kid’s See It?
No- they’d be bored too. And there is plenty of bad language and a number of suggestive jokes and sexual references that will raise questions that the kids don’t need to think about yet.

Side Note:
As said above, we recommend you skip this film. But on the occasion that your teen actually has already seen it, you may want to dialogue about the film with them. These questions below may be a help to you.
