The Mission Impossible films do the impossible…they keep getting better.

Ethan and team take on their most impossible mission yet, eradicating the Syndicate – an International rogue organization as highly skilled as they are, committed to destroying the IMF.

Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation had me from the very beginning where we see Tom Cruise hanging on the outside of a plane! And the action only intensifies as the film goes on.

Everyting about Rogue Nation is bigger. The stunts are bigger, the action is bigger and even the story is bigger. And in this case, bigger is better! This film has what it takes to keep the audience entertained.

It also has an amazing cast. Cruise is sensational as Ethan Hunt. And Simon Pegg is perfect as Benji. He’s hilarious and no doubt the funniest part of the film. Jeremy Renner plays his role flawlessly…keeping the audience guessing about his intentions, loyalties and agenda. Ving Rhames is also back on the team and is a lot of fun to watch him play the “tech nerd.” Several nice additions include Alec Baldwin who is a master at delivering dialogue right on the edge of ridiculousness, and Rebecca Ferguson. Then there is Sean Harris who plays the nasty villain, Solomon Lane.

My guess is you don’t know the name Christopher McQuarrie…but you should. Not only did he direct films like Jack Reacher and The Way of the Gun, he is a very talented writer. There is a depth to his writing that is often missed because the action in his films is so intense. McQuarrie wrote and directed this film and did both flawlessly. The script is deep, witty, and very smart. Plus the twists and turns are not forced or obvious.

Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation is exceptionally made, insanely fun and the best this series has to offer …its “Worth Buying.”

SHOULD KIDS SEE IT?
There is no sex, but there is a brief scene where a woman is changing and we see her underwear the side of her breast

There is a lot of violence including shootings, fighting, torture and extreme chase sense.

There are 3 S-words, and a handful of milder profanity.
