Rated PG-13 for crude and suggestive content, language and some male rear nudity.
Starring Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Kevin James and David Spade
Directed by Dennis Dugan (Grown Ups and Jack and Jill)
Sometimes remembering the good old days is better than trying to relive them. I wish the filmmakers would have allowed us to remember how funny Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Kevin James and David Spade once were, instead of making us watch this movie.
The cast from Grown Ups returns (with a few additions) for more summertime laughs. Lenny (Adam Sandler) has relocated his family back to the small town where he and his friends grew up. This time around, the grown ups are the ones learning lessons from their kids on a day notoriously full of surprises: the last day of school.
That’s about it for plot. Clearly the filmmakers didn’t put much effort into the film, and I’m not going to put much effort into the review.
The simplest way to put it is that if you liked the first Grown Ups, you will like some of this one: it’s equally shameless and ridiculous. But if you’re looking for more in a comedy then a lowbrow humor and fart jokes, then you should skip this one.
SHOULD KIDS SEE IT?
Although no sex or nudity is shown, it sure is talked about a lot. As you would expect with this cast, the conversations and language are crude and inappropriate. I would let the kids skip this one too.

- What does it mean when it says iron sharpens iron?
- How do friends sharpen friends?
- How do your friends sharpen you?
