Dukes of Hazard, The (12/06/2005)

Rated PG for sexual content, crude and drug-related humor, language and comic action.

Directed by Jay Chandrasekhar (Supertroopers, Club Dread…)

Starring Johnny Knoxville, Seann William Scott, Jessica Simpson, Willie Nelson, Burt Reynolds…

Wow… I really can’t believe that this film was popular.

Check it out. Hollywood Video stores put this DVD on their “Guaranteed in Stock” shelf, an honor only given to the films with the biggest draw. (ie: Jessica Simpson’s body) Cinderella Man, a film miles ahead of Hazard, didn’t even attain this honor.

I lack the words to express my wonderment. I’m just sitting here silently shaking my head.

I’m not going to even waste the time writing about this pathetic movie. Here’s all you need to know:

  • Boring!

  • An excuse for dirty jokes and eye candy.

  • If you saw the preview, you’ve seen the film. Except the preview is better.

SHOULD KIDS WATCH IT?
Duh!

Side Note:
We don’t recommend your kids see this film. But on the occasion that they actually have already seen it, you may want to dialogue about the film with them. These questions below may be a help to you.
