The scene opens with a girl sitting on a park bench waiting for a bus. At the other end of the park bench (just a few feet away) is a dog (played by the guy) on a leash. The girl is reading a book, minding her own business, and the dog is happily scratching and licking himself. Take a few moments with this scene and let the ÒdogÓ really ham it up with the crowd.
Boy: (walks up to girl sitting on the bench and in his best Joey Tribbiani voice says) How you doin?
Girl: (slightly annoyed that he would interrupt her reading) OhÉhi there.
Boy: Looks like weÕre waitinÕ for the same bus. Guess that means youÕre ÒheadinÕ my way.Ó Ha ha ha.
Girl: (now really annoyed) YeahÉI guess it does. (she slides over towards the dog)
Boy:
(walking closer to the dog) Hey, does your dog bite?
Girl: No, my dog doesnÕt bite.
Boy: (extends his arm to pet the dog andÉ.)
OK. Here is where the skit gets really funny. The ÒdogÓ needs to pounce on the boy and drag him to the ground. The ÒdogÓ should then bite the boy on the arm and then the leg and then the butt. ThatÕs right, the butt. When he does this, the boy needs to shout out, ÒThe dog just bit my butt!Ó Keep up the ÒattackÓ for a few moments just getting the crowd to laugh a bit. After a few moments, have the dog turn away from the crowd, lift his leg, and act as though he is peeing on the boy. Have the boy cover his face and say, ÒGross, he just peed on me.Ó When this portion of the scene ends, just have the dog return to licking and scratching himself while the boy drags himself up off the ground.
Girl: Wow! That looked like it hurt!
Boy: I thought you said your dog didnÕt bite???
Girl: I did. That isnÕt my dog.
