Anyone who’s subscribed to my email for any time now knows that I’m all about providing you with great youth ministry resources you can use, and we all love the free stuff! Well, I’ve got two great resources for you this week. One is an upcoming conference that you definitely want to consider, and the other is a FREE e-book – full of topical discussion starters – from YouthBuilders, the people who bring you this particular conference.

I’m always happy to pump the resources, conferences and free newsletters that YouthBuilders offer to youth workers and parents. But I also know how much EZINE subscribers love the free stuff. THE YOUTHBUILDERS CONFERENCE
How can we reach this emerging generation? Good question- because YouthBuilders has a conference with just that topic, with speakers that you’ll like. Check out YouthBuilders 2003 Family-Based Youth Ministry Conference being held February 28-March 3 in Manhattan Beach, California or March 21-24, in Atlanta, Georgia. The theme of this year’s event is Engaging the Emerging Generation and the conference explores the current trends in emerging youth and family culture and how it may impact how we do ministry today and in the future. The conference’s theme, small, intimate size, and all-star speaker list featuring Jim Burns, Duffy Robbins, Laurie Polich, Mark DeVries, Mike DeVries, and Greg Stier makes this, quite frankly, one of the most unique training events in youth ministry. And it even gets better. Each of the above speakers teaches full day seminars which allows you the opportunity to spend more time getting to know them and ask questions and get answers to your ministry questions.
