On this one year anniversary of the tragic September 11th event, I simply ask us to pray.
A reader named Lesa e-mailed me with a web site she created focused completely on prayer for September 11th victims and their families. The site was started by Lesa and a friend who, as Christians, believed that we are not helpless in the aftermath of this tragedy. She has posted a complete list of the names of the victims on their web site. The purpose is to adopt the family of a victim and pledge to pray for them daily for one year. Along with the names they have a link to a great site called ?Wall of Americans,? where photos and profiles of the lost are available. Currently they have about 500 families covered in prayer. Please consider personally, or as a youth group, adopting one of these families in prayer: http://committed.to/prayer4families
