Want a cool way to teach about the meaning of John 10:1-15? This OPENER is the perfect way to do it. Not only is it really fun, but it will give you a fantastic segue into a meaningful conversation with your teenagers.
Get all of your students to mingle in the middle of the room. Next, have one adult leader for every 8 students hand out colored blindfolds to 8 different kids in the group. (In other words, if you have 24 kids, you will have 3 adults handing out 8 blindfolds apiece: 8 red, 8 blue, and 8 green.) The color of the blindfold represents the “flock” the student is now in. Tell the students to take note of the color of their blindfold and then have each of the students put on their blindfold in a secure way, ensuring they cannot see.
