Are you a youth worker?

Well check out these VERY cool prizes and how easy it is to win them. You only need to be able to take a picture of your junky car AND follow these simple instructions! Here are the details:

The Source for Youth Ministry is putting on a contest for all youth workers, volunteer or paid, to reward them for driving a hideous heap! That’s right- our focus as youth workers who are reaching youth with the Gospel isn’t on earthly things like cars . . . right? So a bunch of us drive really HIDEOUS HEAPS!!! Here’s your chance to be rewarded for driving that nasty thing!

HOW TO ENTER:
It’s simple
  1. Take a picture of your hideous heap. You can use a digital camera or your grandpa’s Polaroid and scan it. We don’t care. Just save the picture as a jpg. (If you don’t know how, call your computer geek friend!)

  2. Write a paragraph of 60 words or less informing us of the following: A. What you do in youth ministry (ie: I’m a volunteer Sunday School teacher) B. Where you do ministry (ie: at First Baptist Church in Collinsville, IL) C. A description of your vehicle, explaining why it is a heap.
    “NO MORE THAN 60 WORDS!”

  3. E-mail us your name, phone #, your paragraph and picture at contest@thesource4ym.com


CONTEST GUIDELINES:
  1. You must be a youth worker, volunteer or paid to enter this contest.

  2. All entries must be in by midnight, California time, on Friday, September 8, 2006

  3. Entries may come from any country. 1st place prizes take place only in the US, but are transferable to your US youth worker friends. 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and honorable mention will be awarded to youth workers anywhere in the world … even Oklahoma!

  4. Winner will be announced in THE SOURCE newsletter on September 12, 2006.
