Team Builders

Stand On The Bucket

Supplies: A white 5 gallon bucket for each team.

This team builder can be played indoor or outdoor. This quick game can be used in many different ways.

Get as many white, 5 gallon buckets as you have teams. Turn the bucket upside-down. The object is to see how many of their team members they can get to stand on the bucket for more than 3 seconds, at the same time.

The team with the most people off the ground at the same time, wins.

NOTE: Make sure you use this team builder where the ground/floor is soft!

We did this game last night with 50 Jr & Sr High Students. We broke them up into 2 teams and ran 2 rounds, using 2 orange Home Depot buckets.
Round 1: Each team had 2 minutes (or the length of a song) to get as many people to stand on bucket for 3 seconds. They could keep trying, as long as the song was going.
Round 2: Same plan, but this time the other team members could hold members in place.
Round 1, the most we got was 4 people to stand on bucket. Round 2, we got 9, and ended up breaking the bucket.
This was a fun and allowed the smaller students be the heroes, since they were the best ones to stand on bucket.
